Geo Farms is active in assessing investment opportunities for our clients especially in CEE, West Europe and Russia. This includes operating and farming companies, freehold and leasehold land opportunities and integrated value chain businesses in the agri sector. We perform a detailed legal, financial and agricultural due diligence and carry out a full assessment of any potential investment opportunity. Over the past years, Geo Farms has become a leading land brokerage firm in Southeast Europe in terms of hectares transacted.

Geo Farms very selectively accepts sale and transaction management mandates from leading agri businesses in CEE and Russia, particularly Romania. Our broad transaction management experience allows us to successfully complete even the most complex transactions, i.e. complicated debt structure, bankruptcy, etc. For instance, by the end of 2015 Geo Farms successfully sold Romania’s largest trading firm for seed, fertilizer and agro-chemicals to a corporation listed on the London stock exchange, following an 18-months transaction process.

Our longstanding working relationships with banks, leading law firms and the Big Four financial auditing firms allow us to professionally structure any type of sale and investment in the agri sector.

We are a commercially focused and practical consulting team and deliver a tailored farm management and consulting service drawing on the broad experience of our agricultural team.
